On July 8, 2015 at approximately 5:13 pm, a collision occurred between a car and a motorcycle in front of 666 Victoria St N, Kitchener. The northbound car driven by a Kitchener man was making a left turn across the southbound lanes. Vehicles in the inside s/b lane stopped for the car allowing it to turn across in front of them. The s/b motorcycle driven by a Kitchener man was in the curb lane travelling at the speed limit. The car turned left in front of the motorcycle resulting in the collision. The driver of the car was not injured. The driver of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries. The investigation is continuing, and charges are pending. As a result of the collision the s/b lanes of Victoria St N were closed between Bruce St and Edna St from 5:15 pm to 7:00 pm.
