Two of Huron County’s top administrators are now on leave. Treasurer/Deputy CAO Dave Carey and Chief Administrative Officer Larry Adams are on leave for unspecified reasons. They are both suspended, apparently with pay.
Last December, Central Huron got rid of CAO Kevin McLlwain and started looking for a replacement.
In May this year, Perth South saw the resignation of Councillor Cathy Barker. Barker wrote that the “dysfunctional†nature of Perth South’s current Council was having a negative effect on her health.
Morris-Turnberry Council heard cheers and thunderous applause when someone suggested they resign. This public outcry was a clear demonstration of how unsatisfied the public is with our current leadership and management.
North Huron has not seen any resignations yet, despite ample cause and pleas to do so.
Thumbs Up if you think North Huron council is doing a great job running our municipality.
Thumbs Down if you think North Huron council should step down.
