(PERTH EAST, ON) – On Monday April 3, 2017 Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified of the theft of a truck from a rural residence on Perth Line 44 in the Township of Perth East.
Investigation revealed that two suspects had driven on to the property in a white pickup truck shortly before 2:00 a.m. on April 3, 2017. One of the suspects then stole an unlocked grey coloured Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck that had been parked at the residence. The keys for this truck had been inside the motor vehicle. Both trucks then left the residence together in an unknown direction.
Police are continuing to investigate this incident and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the vehicle that the suspects initially arrived in. This pick-up has a distinct red symbol on the passenger side door.
