CAMPBELL Arrested On Hwy 6

(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On June 3, 2017 at 9:51 p.m., a Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer arrested a male driver who was operating a 1997 red Chevrolet pick-up truck on 6 Highway near Bruce Road 9, in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.

Police received a report from a concerned citizen about a northbound red pick-up truck that was driving all over the road. Police located and stopped the vehicle. Upon speaking with the driver, police found the driver had been drinking alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to the Bruce Peninsula OPP Detachment in Wiarton for breath tests, in which he failed.

Shaun CAMPBELL, age 34, from Kitchener, has been charged with impaired driving and over 80 milligrams. His vehicle has been impounded for 7 days and his driver’s licence suspended for 90 days. He is required to appear before the Owen Sound Court of Justice on June 15, 2017 to answer to the charges.
