Cambridge pedestrian dies of injuries received December 21, 2013

Waterloo Region, Ontario – On the 21st of December 2013 at 5:56pm, a 20 year old male from Ottawa was struck by a 2010 Toyota sedan turning left from Cedar St onto Water Street South in Cambridge. The male was walking through the crosswalk along Cedar Street at Water Street South when he was struck.
Emergency Services responded and the victim was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. He was subsequently taken to Hamilton General Hospital for additional treatment.
The driver of the Toyota did not suffer any injuries.
On Tuesday January 7, 2013, police were advised that Christopher MORAN had died of his injuries.
The driver, Sarah PARKHILL, 35 years, of London, was charged with Careless Driving.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Traffic Services Branch and is in the process of being concluded. Police would like to thank members of the public who assisted with information.
