On June 26th 2016 at approximately 12:45am Barrie Police received information that a cab driver was seen stumbling and nearly falling over while entering his cab in the area of Mapleview Drive and Veterans Drive.
With the information provided by the public Police were able to locate the cab driving in the same area . Police determined that the cab driver was impaired and placed him under arrest.
The cab driver was charged and later released from the Barrie Police Service on a promise to appear.
