(KINCARDINE TWP, ON) – On June 22nd, 2012 at 3:20 am, a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol along Highway 9, in the hamlet of Bervie, stopped a Black Ford pick up truck. The officer discovered open alcohol in the truck. The driver was served with a 3 day licence suspension following a warn range result at the road side. 2 passengers in the truck were charged with Open alcohol. The South Bruce OPP is reminding all drivers that mixing alcohol and driving creates an unacceptable risk to public safety. The South Bruce OPP has a zero tolerance for drinking and driving.
