(HURON EAST, ON) A traffic stop on North Line near Winthrop Road has led to 3 day driver’s licence suspension and a speeding ticket for a 67 year old male from Huron East. Shortly after 7:00 p.m. on September 14, 2013 Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers stopped the driver of a speeding GMC Sierra pickup truck that was travelling 29 km/h over the 60 km/h limit.
Upon speaking with the driver it was noted he had been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was completed which resulted in a warn range suspension.
The 67 year old driver from Huron East was issued a 3 day driver’s licence suspension and a ticket for Speeding. His vehicle was also towed from the scene.
