(BRANT TWP, ON) – On November 17, 2012 at 4:35 pm, a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol along Highway 9 in Brant Township noticed a Red Chevrolet mini van travelling a high rate of speed. The speed was displayed on radar at 122 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone. The van was stopped and the officer noted that the driver had been drinking alcohol. The 44 year old driver was charged with Speeding and his licence was suspended for 3 days following a warn result at the roadside.
