(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Sunday June 16, 2013 around 12:10 a.m. a Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer observed a small car coming to a stop within the stop sign controlled intersection of Pugh St. and St.Marys St. in Milverton.
The officer detected the odour of an alcoholic beverage on the male driver’s breath resulting in a Road Side Screening Demand being made to the driver. The roadside breath test indicated that the driver had a blood alcohol concentration from .05 to .08 The male’s drivers licence was seized and has been suspended for 3 days. The driver, a 23 year old Wellesley Township resident had to find an alternate way to get home.
