Business Sign Prevents a Collision from Potentially Becoming Worse

On Friday July 8, 2016 just before 11am a motorist entered a parking spot at Tim Horton’s on the corner of 10 th Street and 9 th Avenue East. The vehicle jumped the curb however a posted business sign at that location prevented the vehicle from entering 10 th Street East at a dangerous angle and at a busy time of day. Driver error is the cause of the collision however no charge will be laid based on the incident occurring on private property.
