On Saturday, July 11th, 2015 at approximately 542 p.m., a motor vehicle collision occurred on Hespeler Road at the Highway 401 eastbound exit ramp. A black Ford SUV was travelling south on Hespeler Road when it failed to stop for a red light at the intersection strucking a black BMW vehicle that was turning north onto Hespeler Road. The Ford SUV then hit a green Honda Accord which was also turning north onto Hespeler Road. This impact pushed the Honda into the front of a Grand River Transit bus which was travelling straight through the intersection. The occupants of the Honda suffered minor injuries. There were 15 passengers on the bus but none of them were injured. The intersection was closed for approximately two hours during the investigation. A 43 year old Cambridge male has been charged with Careless Driving in this incident.
