Next week, November 16 – 22, is Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week in Canada. Bullying Awareness Week is a national campaign launched in 2003 by the Family Channel and bullying.org. The campaign aims to raise awareness about bullying among students in Canada while promoting positive relationships and providing youth with real-life solutions to help them deal with bullying behaviour. On his website Bullying.org president Bill Belsey says; Everyone has the right to be respected and the responsibility to respect others.”
Students at schools across the district will be engaged in a number of activities and projects encouraging each other to Stand Up and Speak Out against bullying.
Over at Stratford Northwestern Me 2 We and the 7-8 Student Council with the help of the 9-12 Student Council will be hosting a Pink Day on Wednesday
