Brussels Methamphetamine Bust – Names Released – Please Share To Help Protect Our Community!

(HURON EAST, ON) – On Tuesday, July 7, 2015, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Huron County OPP executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence located on Turnberry Street, in the Municipality of Huron East, Huron County, Ontario.

As a result of the execution of the search warrant, Police seized methamphetamine, marihuana, morphine pills, hydromorphone pills and LSD. The estimated street value of seized controlled substances is $5,400. Police also seized offence related property that consisted of trafficking paraphernalia and $1,850 cash.

Police arrested and have charged Lori LITTLECHILD, 41 years of age from Brussels with Possession of Methamphetamine & Marihuana for the Purposes of Trafficking, Possession of Morphine, Hydromorphone and LSD. She has also been charged with two counts of Failing to Comply with Conditions of a Probation Order.

Police also arrested and have charged Shane SUTHERLAND, 29 years of age from Stratford with Possession of Methamphetamine and two counts of Failing to Comply with a Probation Order.

LITTLECHILD and SUTHERLAND remain in custody with bail court appearances scheduled for today at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.

Also arrested and charged is 27 year old Shalene PETERS from Brussels. She is facing charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and three counts of Failing to Comply with a Probation Order. She has been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for August 20, 2015 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Wingham.
