(GODERICH, ON) – On August 25, 2012 just before 4:00 a.m. Huron OPP officers stopped a red Oldsmobile Cutlass that was travelling westbound into Goderich. The driver of the Oldsmobile failed to lower the high beams as it passed by the police vehicle. Officers turned around and stopped the driver near the intersection of Suncoast Drive West and Walnut Street. Upon speaking with the male driver officers noted he had been drinking alcohol and was displaying signs of impairment.
Bronson COOK, 20, from Central Huron has been charged with Impaired Operation and Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. He has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on October 1, 2012. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
