Brockton, Ontario (August 28, 2018) – The Municipality of Brockton is pleased to announce the hiring of Jamie Morgan as the incoming Director of Operations for the Municipality of Brockton.

Jamie has over eight years’ experience as a Manager of Operations for The Township of Chatsworth, and formerly the Township of Mapleton and The Municipality of North Perth which included oversight of Parks and Recreation. Jamie has a combined 13 years of municipal government experience as a former water/wastewater operator.

Sonya Watson, Chief Administrative Officer welcomes Jamie to the Brockton team, “I am very pleased, on behalf of Brockton Council and staff to welcome Jamie onto the Brockton team as our new Director of Operations. His broad knowledge of the area coupled with years of experience working in the municipal sector make him well positioned to lead this department going forward.”

Jamie is excited to work with Brockton, “I am thrilled to join the Brockton team and continue to grow in my career in municipal government. I look forward to working in collaboration with the Senior Management Team, staff, Council and the citizens of Brockton to continuing focusing on providing high quality and valued services.”
