(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Saturday June 09, 2012 before 10 p.m. Perth County OPP officers attended at Road 140 just north of Perth Line 72 (east of Donegal), where a Honda Fit was stuck in a ditch. The officers determined that the male driver had been disqualified from driving and that he was breaching his probation. The female passenger was found to be in possession of Crystal Meth.
Brock Raynard (36) of Ashfield Colborne Wawanosh Twp. has been charged with “drive disqualifiedâ€Â, and “breach of probationâ€Â.
Carrie Shaw (33) of Goderich has been charged with “possession of a controlled substance, Schedule IIIâ€Â. Both persons will have to appear at Listowel Court on July 25, 2012 to answer to these charges.
The vehicle was towed from the scene and has been impounded for 45 days. (A driver caught driving while his/her licence is suspended for a Criminal Code conviction will be given an impoundment notice (issued by the Registrar of Motor Vehicles) by a police officer. The vehicle will immediately be towed to an impound yard for a minimum of 45 days. The vehicle owner or plate holder must pay the towing and storage costs before the vehicle is released at the end of the impoundment period).
