(HURON EAST, ON) – A traffic stop on May 24, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. has lead to several charges. A Huron OPP officer stopped the driver of Ford Freestar on Front Road near Hannah Line and discovered the driver had been consuming alcohol. Open alcohol was also observed inside the vehicle.
Brian MELADY, age 38, from Huron East has been charged with Impaired Driving, Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 milligrams of Alcohol, Fail to Surrender Driver’s Licence, Fail to Surrender Permit and Drive Motor Vehicle with Open Container of Alcohol. He has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on July 16, 2012. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension. LP12139579
