(WINGHAM, ON) – On November 24, 2014 at 5:27 pm, the Wingham Police Service contacted the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) to report a wanted female was at a residence in the 400 block of Highland Drive in Wingham.
Members of the Wingham Police Service, Huron OPP, West Region OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), West Region OPP Tactical Rescue Unit (TRU) and West Region OPP Canine Unit (K9) were dispatched to the home where the female was located and arrested without incident.
Twenty two year old Breanne SIMMONS of Bruce Township was charged with possess a controlled substance, careless storage of a firearm, fail to comply with undertaking, possess restricted firearm, possess restricted ammunition and possess stolen property. She was held in custody pending the results of a show cause hearing scheduled for November 25, 2014 at 2:00 pm.
