(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Sunday February 26, 2012 at around 3 a.m. a Perth County OPP officer on patrol discovered insecure storage units at a warehousing company on West St. in Mitchell.
Investigation revealed that six storage lockers on the north side of the building had their locks cut off and doors damaged. The company is attempting to determine what has been removed from the premises. The two persons responsible for this break-in gained access to the property by walking through open fields from the Wimpole St. and Park Lane area in Mitchell.
Anyone who has any information about this break-in or who knows the persons responsible is requested to contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), and you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
