(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Tuesday February 14, 2012 Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to a break-in and theft at Brussels Transport Company (formerly O’Rourke Transport) located north of Dublin on Perth Road 180.
Investigation revealed that sometime between 10 p.m. on February 13 and 3 a.m. on February 14, 2012 someone forced open and entered the main repair shop by the man-door on the west side of the building. A large number of mechanics tools were stolen from the shop including; air tools, torque wrenches, socket sets, jacks, tap and die sets as well as a large number of miscellaneous tools. A vehicle was used by the suspect(s) which was driven onto the lot near the shop.
The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone who may have seen vehicles on Perth Road 180 or near Brussels Transport during the time in question to contact them. If you have any other information about the break-in, or know the whereabouts of the stolen tools you are requested to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
