Break-In And Theft From Public School

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Sunday March 04, 2012 around 6 a.m., Perth County OPP officers in Listowel were called to Eastdale Public School where a break-in had just occurred.

Investigation revealed that a lone suspect entered onto Eastdale School property from the west shortly before 6 a.m., and walked around the north side of the school stopping at the library on the east side. The suspect smashed one of the library windows and removed a 26” black Toshiba flat screen television. The suspect left the area by walking around the south end of the school and proceeding west bound towards Union Street. A male wearing brown canvass pants and a brown jacket with a dark hood was seen in the area at the time of the theft.
