Occurrence Type: Break and Enter

On the 15th of November the male victim was laying on his bed watching the television. The door to the victims room was closed but not locked. At approximately 9:20 pm the accused male opened the door, entered without permission and began screaming at the victim accusing him of stealing a towel.
The accused male punched the victim in the face and continued to swing missing the victim several times. The victim attempted to defend himself and in the process of struggling had his furniture and a window broken, The accused then took one of the victim’s towels and returned to his room.
Police attended to investigate the matter and subsequently charged the male with break and enter and assault.
The 25year old male was held pending a bail hearing.
