Waterloo Regional Police have charged two Kitchener males in relation to several break and enters. On September 3, 2014 police arrested two Kitchener males aged 26 and 27 years old. After a lengthy investigation and the recovery of a large amount of stolen property police are laying the following charges: • Break and Enter Commit x 23 • Break and Enter with Intent • Theft of a Motor Vehicle x 3 • Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000 • VIN Tampering • Possession of Government identification • Theft under $5000 • Flight from Police • Arson • Possession of a prohibited weapon x 2 • Breach of probation • Possession of Break and Enter Instruments • Carry a concealed weapon These Break and Enters included several schools and businesses within Waterloo Region and several incidents in the East Ward area of Kitchener. The value of the stolen property is approximately $70,000 involving approximately thirty victims. The two males will appear for a video remand on September 24, 2014. The Waterloo Regional Police want to thank the community for their assistance in this investigation and remind the public to contact the police if they witness any suspicious activity.
