On November 5th 2014, as a result of information received from the public and further investigation conducted by the Crime Management Team, police arrested the third male involved in a series of residential and school break and enters. The incidents occurred in the Wilson Avenue area of Kitchener during the overnight hours of August 19th, 2014. The third male was released on a Promise to Appear with and Officer In Charge Undertaking, charged with: Break Enter and Commit x 3, Break and Enter with Intent x 2, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000, Theft Under $5000 and Breach Probation. On the 22nd of August, 2014 Crime Management Team investigators executed a criminal code search warrant at a Vanier Drive address in Kitchener and recovered property stolen from the break and enters. A stolen pick-up truck was also recovered at the same location. Police continue to investigate and encourage members of the community to remain vigilant for suspicious activity in their neighborhoods and to report it immediately to police.
