On May 19, 2014 Waterloo Regional Police made two arrests resulting from an investigation into numerous break and enters, theft of vehicles, and thefts from vehicles. Brent TALBOT, 40 years, of Kitchener and Diana STEEVES also 40 years and from Kitchener, have been remanded into custody and will appear in court Friday, May 23, 2014. This investigation dates back to occurrences from April 2014 to May 19, 2014. The investigation continues and additional charges are expected to be laid in the following weeks. The break and enters are to both residential and commercial properties within the Region of Waterloo and one incident in Brant County. Numerous items of property and motor vehicles have been recovered and returned to their owners. During the investigation some property was abandoned by the accused. Police are requesting residents in the area of Courtland Ave and Cedar St, Kitchener to check for abandoned property and contact police with any findings.
