On July 13, 2015 at 7:44 p.m., the Guelph Police went to Zehr’s located on Eramosa Road to assist with an un-cooperative female shoplifter who had fled on foot after being confronted by security. Police located the female a short distance away and she was arrested. A search subsequent to her arrest discovered a small quantity of Crystal Meth and Hydro morphine.
The 38-year-old Guelph female has been charged with theft under $5,000, breach of probation and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on July 14, 2015.
Break and enter
On July 13, 2015, the Guelph Police went to a Pondview Crescent residence to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) broke into the garage and entered the car sometime overnight. No theft is reported in this incident.

On July 13, 2015, the Guelph Police went to 735 Woolwich Street, which is a vacant building, to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered through a rear door sometime over the past month. Property damage and the theft of copper wiring is reported.
