At approximately 6:30 a.m. police responded to a residential alarm in the 400 block of 12 th Street West, Owen Sound. Upon arrival police observed damage to an exterior door of the residence. It appears as though the alarm activation scared of the culprit(s) before entry was gained into the residence.
At around 11:00 a.m. police responded to a residence in the 900 block of 8 th Avenue East with regards to an overnight break, enter and theft. The residence was vacant at the time of this incident. Entry was gained by forcing open a locked door. An undetermined quantity of property was removed by the culprit(s).
