London Police have investigated seven break and enters to private residences following a similar pattern since June 20, 2016. Common elements of the break and enters include window screens being cut and removed with the suspect targeting jewelry and cash once inside the residence. The crimes have all occurred during daytime hours, between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Police are searching for a suspect who is described as being a female, white, approximately 20-30 years old with blonde hair in a ponytail, wearing a t-shirt and pants and carrying a backpack.
The Crime Analysis Unit of the London Police Service detected this pattern using analytical software purchased using a grant from the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services. The mapping software can be viewed at this link: http://www.londonpolice.ca/en/services/Crime-Map.aspx
