(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On December 10, 2017, member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to two (2) reports of break, enter and thefts on Cook Road, Middlesex Centre.
Police were alerted by a home owner who returned to their residence and found a suspicious male and female on their property. The culprits fled the scene empty handed. Police continue to investigate suspect descriptions.
The suspect vehicle is described as a small, dark colored sedan.
Officers were later dispatched to a break, enter and theft from a home under construction on Cook Road. The investigation, thus far, has revealed that culprit (s) attended the unoccupied building, trespassed and stole power tools and construction equipment.
Residents of Middlesex County are reminded to immediately report suspicious vehicles and persons to police by calling 9-1-1.
The Elgin-Middlesex Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) is investigating.
