(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating a break, enter and theft that occurred earlier this week at a commercial storage facility in Vanastra.
Investigators believe those responsible for this crime attended the storage facility located on Winnipeg Road sometime between 7:00 p.m. on December 19th and 8:00 a.m. on December 20th, 2016. The thieves defeated the lock on one of the man doors and made their way into the building. Once inside the building they stole various items that were being held in storage for customers.
Some of the stolen items included:
A green KX80 dirt bike
A red CRF70 dirt bike
Approximately 200 Nintendo video games
Some red lanterns
Various brand new lamp fixtures.
The thieves loaded up the items into a waiting vehicle and left in an unknown direction.
The dollar value of the stolen items has yet to be determined.
