(TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH, ON) – On Monday, March 30, 2015, at approximately 8:06 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break-in at Nuhn’s Garage located on Hwy. 6 in the Township of Chatsworth.
Sometime over the weekend, unknown person(s) forcibly entered the office at Nuhn’s Garage. Once inside, a number of items were stolen including a Samsung laptop, two Lenovo laptops, a vinyl cutter, approximately 25 sets of wiper blades and some cash. In addition, a quantity of frozen beef was taken from a freezer inside the building.
Investigation revealed that the culprit(s) had used a 2007 red Dodge pick-up truck which was taken from the business and was used to move the stolen property. The stolen vehicle, which was found abandoned on Sideroad 3 in the Municipality of West Grey, was recovered by the West Grey Police Service earlier that morning.
The total value of the stolen property was estimated to be $6,000.
Grey County OPP, with the assistance of the OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit – Mount Forest, continue to investigate.
