Break And Enter To Hensall Service Centre

(BLUEWATER, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continue to investigate a break, enter and theft that occurred in Hensall last weekend.

At approximately 2:41 a.m. on August 4, 2018 Huron OPP members responded to an alarm activation at a service centre located on London Road. Upon arrival officers observed the main glass door had been shattered and entry had been gained into the business. Once inside the business the suspect(s) stole a quantity of cash from the cash register, several pieces of lawn maintenance equipment and three motorcycle jackets.

The stolen items are described as follows: Two Echo GT225T, 25 cc, gas powered trimmers, an Echo PAS230 hedge trimmer attachment, an Echo PB250 25 cc leaf blower, a Husqvarna 125 B 25 cc leaf blower, four Husqvarna chainsaws, a blue and black Techniq motorcycle jacket and two blue & white Yamaha motorcycle jackets.

The total value of the stolen goods is approximately $4,500.

Investigators believe the suspect(s) may have fled the scene in a dark grey, 2009 – 2014 model, full-sized pickup truck.
