On July 18, 2013, at approximately 9:00 pm, the Owen Sound Police Services responded to Sydenham Public School situated at 1130 8th Street East Owen Sound, Ontario with respect to an alarm call. Upon arrival, (4) people, believed to be between 12 – 16 years of age were observed unlawfully inside the premises. The group fled on foot to avoid apprehension through backyards in a northbound direction along the 800 block of 11th Avenue East. Entry appeared to be through an unlocked rear door to the school.
