(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) The Perth County OPP is investigating a break-in to a rural residence located on the north side of the Whalen Line, east of Whalen Corners.
According to the home owners, sometime between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Tuesday January 11, 2011 the home was forcibly entered and small items were removed.
Police investigation revealed that a vehicle drove up to the home and the culprits kicked in two steel man doors on the north and west side of the residence. The home was subsequently searched and some jewellery and a small amount of cash was removed.
The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone who may have observed a suspicious vehicle on the Whalen Line on Tuesday January 11, 2011 or who has information about this theft to contact them at 1-888-310-1122 or to call CRIME STOPPERS at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
