On Monday 5 September 2016 a male party attended an address in the Former Township of Bentinck within the Municipality of West Grey. The male party gained access to the residence through a rear door and stole a number pieces of jewelry. The male was confronted by a friend of the property owner. The male was described as 5’10” 200lbs, short hair, scruffy facial hair with a red tinge, rotten teeth wearing a baseball hat. The male left the property in his vehicle, is described as light blue Chev Malibu hatchback. Anyone who may have information pertaining to this crime can contact the West Grey Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
