(SOUTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers including members of the Huron OPP Property Crimes Unit continue to investigate a daytime break, enter and theft that took place in Exeter last week.
Sometime between 10:45 a.m. and 11:10 a.m. on February 15, 2017 a thief attended a residence located on Victoria Street West and entered into the home through an unlocked door. Once inside the residence the thief located and stole several items.
The stolen items included a Sony PlayStation game console, a rose coloured Bulova men’s wrist watch, a charcoal grey coloured wrist watch and some loose change.
The total value of the stolen property is estimated at approximately $1,000.
A suspect vehicle was spotted near the residence around the time of the theft. It was described as a tan or beige coloured late 1990’s or early 2000’s Cadillac or Lincoln.
