Sometime overnight between the hours of 4:00 p.m. on June 5 th and 7:30 a.m. today, unknown culprits broke in to a storage shed located on the property of the West Side Boat Launch, 1455 1 st Avenue West, Owen Sound. The Owen Sound Police Service was notified and attended to
investigate. During the break in, force was used to gain entry to the main door of the storage shed causing approximately $500 in damage. The Forensic Identification Unit further examined the scene for any evidence potentially left behind by the suspects.
Items stolen included a tool box containing small hand tools and a quantity of down-rigging fishing equipment.
The Owen Sound Police Service is seeking assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible.
