(NEWBURY, ON) – On November 17, 2017, the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of residential break and enter in the Town of Newbury, Municipality of Southwest Middlesex.
The investigation, thus far, has revealed that culprit(s) attended a residence on Durham Street.
Once on the property, culprit(s) trespassed, and accessed the home through a basement window. A quantity of jewelry and prescription medication was stolen.
Residents of Middlesex County are reminded to immediately report suspicious vehicles and persons to police by calling 9-1-1. Residents are also reminded to secure all access points when leaving properties unattended.
The Elgin-Middlesex Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) is investigating.
