On Friday October 26, 2012, the Guelph Police Service began an investigation into a break, enter and theft of a firearm in the south end of the City of Guelph.
On Sunday October 28, 2012, the Guelph Police concluded the investigation with the arrest of two male adults and one male youth and the seizure of the stolen firearm.
A 20-year-old Guelph male, 28-Year-old Guelph male and 17-year-old Guelph male were jointly charged with Break, Enter and Theft of a Firearm, Possession of a Weapon Obtained by Crime, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Careless Storage of a Firearm and Theft Under $5000.
The 17-year-old Guelph male was further charged with two counts of Breach Probation. He will appear in court in November.
The 20-year-old Guelph male and 28-year-old Guelph male were held for a Bail Hearing.
