Break And Enter – $9,400 In Tools Stolen

BREAK, ENTER AND THEFT – HENSALL

(BLUEWATER, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating a break, enter and theft that occurred early this morning at Brian’s Service Centre located on London Road in Hensall. At 4:43 a.m. a passerby heard the sound of an audible alarm coming from the business and observed a male wearing a black hoody and balaclava carrying chainsaws to a waiting vehicle. The suspect left the scene in what is believed to be a black or blue coloured Chrysler Intrepid. The suspect vehicle was later observed travelling southbound on Parr Line near Dashwood at a high rate of speed. Police patrolled extensively for the suspect vehicle however it was not located.

Initial police investigation has revealed the suspect forced entry into the business and once inside he proceeded to steal the following Husqvarna Brand items:

7 chainsaws
3 gas powered leaf blowers
3 gas powered hedge trimmers
2 gas power cutter saws

The total value of stolen property is approximately $9400.
