On October 2, 2013 at 1:39 a.m., the Guelph Police attended to a business on Southgate Drive to investigate a break and enter. A witness had observed a newer model white pick-up truck with a white cab enter the business property. Shortly after, a dark coloured four door Honda Civic exited the rear of the property followed by the pick-up that now had a trailer attached to it. The vehicles were last seen on Laird Road heading towards the Hanlon Express way. The culprits had removed a steel gate to gain entry to the yard. The theft of a flatbed trailer containing two 2012 Can Am Outlander 400 EFI ATV’s, yellow in colour is reported.
