Breach, Weapons, Crystal Meth, Drive While Suspended

On November 13, 2014 at 2:57 a.m., the Guelph Police conducted a traffic stop with a motor vehicle on Woolwich Street at Norfolk Street. The male driver was confirmed as a suspended driver and he was arrested. Investigation also discovered a prohibited weapon and a small quantity of Crystal Meth.

A 31-year-old Guelph man has been charged with four counts of possess a prohibited weapon contrary to an order, two counts of breach recognizance, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of a controlled substance (CDSA). He was also charged with two counts of driving while suspended under the Highway Traffic Act. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on November 13, 2014.
