Type: Arrest-Assault police and mischief

Locations: Station

Incident: A male that was evicted from his apartment and had nowhere to go ended up being arrested by Brantford Police after the male spat on a police officer’s shirt while waiting for assistance in the lobby at the police station. After being arrested the male exhibited medical distress signs and was taken up to the BGH. Once at the hospital the male began to act out and damaged a light fixture before being cleared medically and released from the BGH. Charged with Assault police and mischief is a 44 yr old Brantford man of no fixed address.

Locations: Paris Road

Brantford Police were operating the RIDE program on Paris Road on September 9, 2015 when at 9:50pm a vehicle drove erratically into the RIDE lanes. Upon officers speaking with the female driver, a roadside test was requested which resulted in a fail. Once transported back to the station breath readings were 1 ½ times the legal limit. A 58 yr old Brantford woman is facing being over the Legal limit, and her vehicle was seized for 7 days.

Incident: Police are investigating after large construction tools including a generator, Bosch tools and a Stihl saw were taken from a locked container from a job site on King George Road.
