Brantford Crime Briefs – October 27, 2015

Type: Break and Enter (residential)

Incident: 15-36301

Location: West Street (0-100 block)

Incident: On October 25, 2015 between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. an apartment on West Street was entered. A screen window was cut and a sliding window opened in order to gain entry. Tools were reported stolen from the residence.

Type: Break and Enter (Commercial)

Incident: 15-36386

Location: Mohawk Street (0-100 block)

Incident: Sometime overnight on October 26, 2015 a fenced compound was cut at a property on Mohawk Street. Two generators were reported stolen.

Type: Theft from Motor Vehicle

Incident: 15-36270

Location: Jasper Street

Incident: On the morning of October 26, 2015 it was discovered that a vehicle parked on the road on Jasper Street was entered sometime over night. Loose change was reported stolen.

Type: Theft from Motor Vehicle

Incident: 15-36344

Location: Brantwood Park Road

Incident: On the evening of October 26, 2015 it was discovered that a vehicle parked on the road on Brantwood Park Road had been entered. An old IPhone and a bag containing a compass and head lamp were amongst the items stolen.

The BPS requests citizens to report all crimes and suspicious activities which take

place on your property. All thefts from your motor vehicles should be reported to

the BPS regardless if items are stolen.
