Incident: On October 19, 2015 sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. unknown persons forced open a door and entered a home on Colborne Street. No items were reported stolen at the time of the report.
Type: Property Damage
Incident: 35389-15
Location: Lansdowne-Costain School on Preston Boulevard
Incident: Sometime between October 16th and 19th the soccer field at Lansdowne School was damaged. It appears that a vehicle was driven over the grass and damaged the property. There are no suspects or vehicle description.
Type: Assault with a Weapon
Incident: 34995-15
Location: Murray Street (0-100)
Incident: On October 16, 2015 shortly before 4:00 a.m. the Brantford Police Service received a call from Ambulance to attend to an address on Murray Street regarding a male who had been stabbed. It is believed that the suspect a 22 year old man attended the residence to confront one of the occupants of the home regarding a previous dispute. When the occupant (victim) a 27 year old man answered the door he was met by the suspect and a verbal argument took place. The argument quickly ensued to a physical confrontation where the victim received two stab wounds, one described as a superficial wound and the other a non-life threatening puncture wound. A 22 year old suspect known to the police fled the scene and is being sought for the charges of Assault Causing Bodily Harm and Assault with a Weapon. Detectives from the Major Crime Unit continue their investigation. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Detective David Minutillo at 519-756-0113 X2272.
