Type: Arrests

Locations: Fieldgate

Incident: A bad driver assisted in getting him and his friend arrested on June 23, 2015 at 1:30pm. Police stopped a 29 yr old Brantford driver for speeding in a residential neighbourhood. The driver, who was a suspended driver, was also found to be on a court order not to associate with his passenger. Another passenger (26 yrs of age Brantford resident) in the car had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for theft. Both males were held in custody and are awaiting a bail hearing.

Type: Arrest- Shoplifting

Location: King George Road

Incident: A 39 yr old Brantford male known to store security for shoplifting was seen shopping at a store around 1pm on Tuesday that he was prohibited from attending. Store security stopped the male and arrested him for trespassing and while dealing with the male found that he had just stolen two cameras from the same store.

Type: Intoxicated person

Locations: Earl Haig Family Fun Park

Incident: A 54 yr old Brantford female was arrested around 10pm last evening after being found drinking behind the fun park. The female who was with a male was on a court order not to consume alcohol nor be with the male that she was found with. The female was arrested and brought to the station to return to bail court today.
