Protecting your Property!
The BPS would like to remind the community that with warmer temperatures comes the
increased responsibility of ensuring your valuables are protected.
Warmer weather usually has us bringing out valuables such as lawn furniture, garden
decorations and bicycles. Etching a mark or initial on your property is easy for one to
identify.
This is also a time when we leave doors and windows open and unlocked.
How can I prevent a theft from my car?
Citizens are encouraged to take a second to look inside their vehicles for items (wallets,
electronics, change, GPS, garage door openers, cell phones ect) that may make them an
attractive target for thieves.
Remove it or Lose It!
If you don’t get, they will!
Remove the items, roll up all windows and lock the vehicle up.
If it is valuable to you, don’t leave an item in a place where it can be easily
stolen.
Report any incidents of theft and/or attempt theft of your property to the BPS.
For your convenience the BPS offer ‘ONLINE’ Reporting.
