Date: June 10, 2015
Incident: On June 10, 2015 shortly after 3:30 a.m. a Community Patrol Officer on routine patrol observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed and changing lanes without signaling. A traffic stop was conducted in the area of Icomm Drive and Clarence Street. A female driver was given a breath demand at the roadside and registered a fail reading. The driver was arrested for Impaired Driving Over .80 mgs and transported to the BPS where she provided two samples of her breath as required by law. The accused readings were 2 times over the legal limit. The accused a 20 yr old Brantford woman is charged with;
Operate a Motor Vehicle over 80 milligrams
Further the accused licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
The accused was released with a future court date.

Date: June 9, 2015
Location: Buffalo Street/ West Street
Incident: On June 9, 2015 shortly after 9:30 p.m. a concerned citizen telephoned the BPS to report a man lurking around a backyard in the area of Buffalo and West Street. Community Patrol Officers converged into the area in search of the man who had fled on foot. Shortly before 10:00 p.m. an Officer located the man in the area of Terrace Hill Street. During the investigation the man was found to have a six inch buck knife concealed in the rear waist band area of his shorts.
The accused a 32 yr old Brantford man was arrested and charged with the following offences;
Carry a Concealed Weapon and Breach of Probation. The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
