Incident: On July 1, 2015 between 3:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. a business was entered. A screen window was cut and a window broken in order to gain entry. It was unknown at the time of the report if any items were stolen.

Location: Lions Park
Incident: On July 1, 2015 Community Patrol Officers were in attendance on foot during the festivities at the Lions Park Canada Day event. At around 4:30 p.m. Community Patrol Officers approached and interacted with a male who was in attendance at the park. Officers observed the man to have a large sheathed knife hanging from the belt area on his waist. Further investigation revealed that the man also had three knives in his pockets. The man was arrested without incident for weapons dangerous and removed from the park area. A search of the accused backpack resulted in finding four more knives, a small axe, and a black replica handgun. The replica handgun on closer inspection turned out to be a loaded BB gun.
The accused a 21 year old Brantford man is charged with Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose. The accused was released on an Appearance Notice to attend court on August 13, 2015.

Date: July 2, 2015
Location: Market Street (100 block)
Incident: On July 2, 2015 at around 2:30 a.m. Community Patrol Officers attended in the area of Market Street regarding a disturbance. Officers attended and assisted with dispersing the crowd. One man was arrested for Intoxicated in a Public place under the Liquor Licence Act and was taken home by an officer
